MSc Digital Health (New Curriculum, 2022)



About us

Master of Science Programme Digital Health Programme Princess Srisavangavadhana College of Medicine, Chulabhorn Royal Academy. It has been developed from digital transformation in the health service system. It creates new technologies or innovations that influence the medical and public health systems, such as integrating Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the management of Medical Informatics. These new additions will increase the capacity of data analytics to improve health outcomes—improving medical diagnosis and Information-Based Treatment, including the use of information for patient care, etc.,

This curriculum was developed based on the vision of the Chulabhorn Royal Academy, which aims to “Create good and equal health for all life with advanced science Innovation and excellence,” and the vision of Princess Srisavangavadhana College of Medicine, to be a “The Giver, The Inventor and The Doctor of the Future.” This curriculum intends to produce graduates with the knowledge and ability to develop service and health management systems by connecting them with digital health knowledge and technology. To create a participative and sustainable health system development through teaching and learning in the form of Blended Learning, which consists of Online Learning and Face-to-Face Learning.

Programme Philosophy

Create digital health leaders who can apply new knowledge and technology to elevate health services into the future. Possess analytical thinking, problem-solving, and creative research or innovation skills based on digital technology and health information.

Students requirements

    • Holder of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from higher education institutions under the Ministry of Education Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC) or an accrediting agency with legal authority in computer engineering, computer science, health data science, biostatistics science, biomedical engineering Health sciences such as medicine, nursing, veterinary science dentistry medical technology Public health or other related fields or have other qualifications as specified by the Program Administrative Committee.
    • Passing the qualifying examination according to the criteria of Princess Srisavangavadhana College of Medicine, Chulabhorn Royal Academy

Graduation requirements

    • GPA of at least 00 with a thesis presentation and passing the final oral examination.
    • The thesis or part of the thesis must be published or accepted for publication in national or international journals or presented to the academic conference with the full paper and published in a continuation of the academic conference (Proceedings)

All graduate students of Chulabhorn Royal Academy passes must pass to assess knowledge, competence, and English language skills according to the criteria specified before graduation from the graduate program are as follows

1. TOEFL
1.1 Paper-based with a score of 500 points or more
1.2 Computer-based at a score level of 173 points or more
1.3 Internet-based Internet-based at a score level of 64 points or more, or
2. IELTS with a score of 5.0 or higher, or
3. CU-TEP CU-TEP at a score of 60 or more, or
4. MU GRAD TEST MU GRAD TEST with a score of 60 points or more, or
5. TU-GET with a score of 550 or more, or
6. KU-EPT at a minimum 50%
7. Common European Framework of
Reference for Languages (CEFR)
at minimum B2 level.

1. Tuition fees consist of
1.1 Lecture/Theory/Seminar 2,000 baht/credit
1.2 Laboratory 3,000 baht/credit
1.3 Thesis 4,000 baht/credit
2. Education Fee
2.1 Education fee 10,000 baht/semester
2.2 Library maintenance fee 500 baht/semester
2.3 Fee for extra-curricular activities 2,500 baht/semester
2.4 Fee for student activities 500 baht/semester
2.5 Internet maintenance fee 500 baht/semester
2.6 Accident insurance fee 500 baht/semester
2.7 Health service fee 1,000 baht/semester
3. Tuition fees and fines
3.1 Registration fee for first-time students 2,500 baht
3.2 Student ID card fee of 300 baht
3.3 Damage insurance
(Refund upon graduation or termination of student status)
2,000 baht
3.4 Student status maintenance fee 5,000 baht/semester
