Dr. Ruchuta Ardkhean, lecturer at the Princess Srisavangavadhana College of Medicine, Chulabhorn Royal Academy and a co-chair of Thailand Younger Chemist Network (TYCN) was at Pure and Applied Chemistry International Conference (PACCON 2023) at Mae Fah Luang University, Chiang Rai, on the 20th – 21st of January 2023.

Together with Mae Fah Luang and the Chemical Society of Thailand, the TYCN organizing committee comprising of 10 young chemical science professionals from 10 institutions across Thailand organised an inaugural event, “Meet and Greet with Nobel Laureate and distinguished chemists” which aimed to inspired and guided the younger generations. The invited guests included Sir David MacMillan, the 2021 Nobel Laureate in chemistry.

Dr. Ruchuta Ardkhean also gave an oral presentation of her recent work “In silico and in vitro studies of potential inhibitors against Dengue viral protein NS5 Methyl Transferase from Ginseng and Notoginseng”.
